Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Techno-Functional Support Engineer with strong expertise in FIX Protocol, Capital Markets, Linux, Networking, and ITIL processes. The ideal candidate should have prior experience supporting production trading environments and be comfortable working independently in a client-facing support role during US business hours.

This role offers the opportunity to work with leading financial institutions and trading technology platforms, ensuring seamless connectivity and operational support for mission-critical trading systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2 support for FIX connectivity and electronic trading platforms.
• Troubleshoot FIX, market data, and connectivity issues.
• Analyze FIX logs and perform root cause analysis (RCA).
• Monitor application, system, and network performance.
• Manage incidents, service requests, and change activities.
• Coordinate with clients and technical teams to resolve production issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Production Support / FIX Connectivity Support experience.
• Strong knowledge of FIX Protocol and electronic trading workflows.
• Linux/Unix, SQL, and TCP/IP Networking.
• Experience with log analysis and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and incident management.
• Good understanding of Equities, Derivatives, FX, or Fixed Income markets.

Preferred Skills

• OMS/EMS or Trading Platform Support.
• Splunk, Grafana, Kibana, or similar monitoring tools.
• Shell/Python scripting.
• Exchange connectivity and onboarding experience.
