Job Description:

Fidel Softech Ltd. (Under FIXSOL Business Unit) is currently seeking a FIX Analyst/ FIX Connectivity Engineer. This is a key position, working with multiple groups: the front-office business, development, QA, BA groups and Production support. This position involves: requirement analysis and capture, working closely with the business users and other technology teams to define solutions. Implementing these solutions using FIX connectivity platform of the client.

Objectives and responsibilities: Key Skills and Experience required:

• Work within a global team of experienced FIX Engineers to establish and maintain connectivity from external clients to Clients FIX gateways.
• Communicate effectively with business, development, QA, infrastructure, and production support teams.
• Use technical skills to ensure business requirements are understood at all levels of delivery.
• Assist with troubleshooting and issue resolution across development, support, and technical business users.
• Establish strong working relationships across different technology areas (QA, Support, etc.).
• New client connectivity onboarding and certification
• Migrating existing connectivity from legacy platform to new as required
• 2nd line support for all FIX issues and Client Connectivity related
• Client onboarding for Equity, Derivative and Rates businesses

Key Skills and Experience required:

• Solid relevant experience in FIX Engineering or systems analysis role
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) in FIX Protocol
• Familiar with networking fundamentals
• Good understanding of electronic trading and financial markets
• Experience in FIX client onboarding and certification projects
• Knowledge of Third Party Networks and EMS/OMS software vendors.
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
• Prior experience with Aegis Client Simulator or other FIX testing/certification tools
• Experience with UNIX/Linux, SQL and XML
